About Rodgers Education Group

Rodgers Education Group exists to help families make sense of the public school system while strengthening the partnership between families and schools.

The Founder’s Story

Meet Faith Rodgers

Faith Rodgers is an educator, systems thinker, and mother who has spent her career inside public schools while also learning to navigate them as a parent.

She began working in public education in 2013 as a middle school band director and later served as an elementary music teacher from 2014 to 2022. Since 2024, she has also served as an adjunct professor. Throughout her career in the Dallas metroplex, primarily in Title I schools, Faith has taught more than 1,000 students and worked directly with over 1,000 families through performances, school events, and community programming.

As an elementary music teacher, she became known for helping students understand complex grade-level concepts by turning them into songs. She holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Music Education and earned a project management certification because she has always been drawn to structure, systems, and helping people understand how things work.

Her perspective deepened in 2015 when her son was born prematurely, leading to medical complications and developmental delays. When he entered Pre-K 3, Faith found herself navigating special education processes alongside standard school procedures. Even with her professional background, she experienced firsthand how overwhelming school systems can feel from the parent side.

Around that same time, during a PTA meeting, she overheard parents expressing frustration about what they believed schools should be teaching. That moment sparked a realization: many families were navigating public education without ever being shown how it operates.

Rodgers Education Group was born from that realization.

Today, Faith’s son is fully speaking and doing well, and the lessons from that journey continue to shape the work she does with families and schools.

Our Philosophy

Public education is a system. Parenting is a responsibility.
Student growth depends on both.

At Rodgers Education Group, we believe families and schools function best when roles are clear and expectations are aligned.

Families deserve to understand how public schools are structured, who makes decisions, what schools are responsible for, and where the home's responsibility begins. Without that clarity, frustration grows, and communication becomes reactive.

We understand that schools are focused on teaching grade-level content while working within complex academic, behavioral, and policy constraints. We also believe the home is the primary setting where children develop character, habits, and identity.

When families define success for their child, reinforce life skills at home, and understand how to navigate district systems, schools can focus on instruction and support student growth more effectively.

When families and schools share clear expectations and a common understanding of their roles, communication improves, conflict decreases, and student outcomes are strengthened.

What Makes Us Different?

Rodgers Education Group does not offer motivational talks or generic parent tips.

Our work is rooted in systems knowledge, classroom experience, and lived parenting realities. We combine an insider’s understanding of public education with a parent’s perspective to create structured, practical guidance that families can actually apply.

We do not position families against schools, and we do not position schools against families. Instead, we focus on alignment.

Public School 101 is not about assigning blame. It is about building shared language, clarifying roles, and strengthening partnership so students benefit from consistency between home and school.

This balanced approach allows both families and educators to feel supported rather than criticized.
